While my friend Julie and I were meandering through the streets of Little Italy, making our way to Dick Blick's for more art supplies, I decided I would hold my camera out the window and rapid fire.
Who did I think I was kidding? I am. just. not. that. good at utilizing the 'rapido' fire button on my camera and... especially since I kept accidently closing the lens instead of shooting the picture, leaving me with some 'not so' interesting subjects, like this street light on F.
So, I decided to give it an extreme photo makeover ala Peter Max utilizing PS's neon glow filter, manipulating the brightness levels and enhancing the image.
Hey, I'm a child of the 60's, I love Peter Max. Learn more about him here .

Hello, saw your visit on Johns blog, you are very creatve person, show beautiful things. I love your art boxes
Trijnie
I love what you did with this picture! So neat- Love the warm colors!
Jesus! That came out of the car? It's awesome! Very nice composition for 40mph!!
Don't try to preview and then attempt an edit in the yellow; the message is lost. I'm not yet really awake. So again, albeit unbeknownst to you,I was asking your name.
I saw one commenter say Jesus! So perhaps that is your name? In that case, Jesus, you are a very like-minded person to me! Each of your posts is wonderful. The photo in this one turned out beautifully!

I am a child of the '60s too (not as a little child but a big kid) and I love neon too!!
Great job! Color can make anything (almost) look good!
Nice art you have!

Rapid firing with the camera seems like a fun thing to do when in a car. I must try that some day. I wonder if it would work on a bicycle? You did a lovely job enhancing your picture. I too am a child of the sixties and can get nostalgic for them. My mandalas lately have had a lot of orange in them, maybe that is why.
And who says you "can't turn a sow's ear into a silk purse" ?!? Very clever of you!!
I grew up during the 60's and love Peter Max. He always inspired me too.
I really like this colorful photo. It's very interesting to me, nice work in taking something you found not so hot and making it great.
I LOVE this photo, I love Peter Max and I am LMAO about Christine's comment that she is deducing that your name is Jesus because Julie started her post with Jesus! LMAO!
You're so cool. :-)
Looks like I've stumbled into a darned hippie revival in here! Someone just nudged me and said, "Dude, put down the bong and check out these colors! Like, wow, man!"
Truthfully, this is a fabulous manipulation that all of seem to like ... a LOT! :)
