"F" Street ala Peter Max

While my friend Julie and I were meandering through the streets of Little Italy, making our way to Dick Blick's for more art supplies, I decided I would hold my camera out the window and rapid fire.

Who did I think I was kidding? I am. just. not. that. good at utilizing the 'rapido' fire button on my camera and... especially since I kept accidently closing the lens instead of shooting the picture, leaving me with some 'not so' interesting subjects, like this street light on F.

So, I decided to give it an extreme photo makeover ala Peter Max utilizing PS's neon glow filter, manipulating the brightness levels and enhancing the image.

Hey, I'm a child of the 60's, I love Peter Max. Learn more about him here .

Don't try to preview and then attempt an edit in the yellow; the message is lost. I'm not yet really awake. So again, albeit unbeknownst to you,I was asking your name.

I saw one commenter say Jesus! So perhaps that is your name? In that case, Jesus, you are a very like-minded person to me! Each of your posts is wonderful. The photo in this one turned out beautifully!

Great job! Color can make anything (almost) look good!

Nice art you have!

Rapid firing with the camera seems like a fun thing to do when in a car. I must try that some day. I wonder if it would work on a bicycle? You did a lovely job enhancing your picture. I too am a child of the sixties and can get nostalgic for them. My mandalas lately have had a lot of orange in them, maybe that is why.

You're so cool. :-)

Looks like I've stumbled into a darned hippie revival in here! Someone just nudged me and said, "Dude, put down the bong and check out these colors! Like, wow, man!"

Truthfully, this is a fabulous manipulation that all of seem to like ... a LOT! :)
